Fragrance of Rajasthan Tour

Delhi > Agra > Jaipur >Roopangarh> Udaipur > Jodhpur > Jaisalmer >Khimsar> Bikaner > Mandawa > Delhi

Day 01: Delhi 
On arrival at Delhi international airport, one of our representatives will collect you and transfer you to your chosen accommodation.  After breakfast you will take a rickshaw around Delhi’s famous ChandniChowk, and to see the Lotus Temple.  The sight seeing for the first day depends on the time of the international flight.  If one arrives late at night these sights will be added to the next days tour.

Day 02: Delhi 
Lotus Temple After breakfast your driver will pick you up and take you on a sight seeing tour around Delhi, this will include the following places and monuments:  The QutubMinar, India’s gate (War Memorial) the Presidents House, Parliament House and Secretariat Buildings, the Raj Ghat (cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi), and the Jama Masjid.  We will end the days sight seeing by driving past the Red Fort (closed on Monday) After the tour is finished you will be returned to your chosen accommodation.

Day 03: Delhi to Agra (210km 5hrs)
Taj MahalAfter breakfast you will be driven on to Agra, after checking in to your chosen accommodation your driver will take you to the beautiful Agra fort followed by the MahtabBagh, where you will experience a beautiful sunset.  Afterwards you will be returned to your chosen accommodation to relax and enjoy the evening at your leisure.

Day 04: Agra to Jaipur (250km 5hrs)
Before breakfast you will be taken to visit the world famous TajMahal, here you will also experience an amazing sunrise, you will then return to your accommodation for breakfast before being driven on to Jaipur, visiting the Fatehpur Sikri.  On arrival in Jaipur you will be taken to your chosen accommodation and left to rest.

Day 05: Jaipur
After breakfast you will be taken to Jaipur’s beautiful Amber Fort.  After the fort you will be taken on to explore the Pink City of Jaipur including the Jantra Mantra observatory, the HawaMahal (Wind Palace) and City palace where the royal family still resides.  Afterwards you will be returned to your chosen accommodation to relax and enjoy the evening at your leisure.

Day 06: Jaipur to Roopangarh (111km 2hrs) 
Hawa MahalAfter breakfast you will be driven on to Roopangarh.  One arrival you will check in to your chosen accommodation and enjoy a rest before being picked to enjoy a Jeep Safari to the beautiful Sambhar Lake, here you will also experience the beautiful and colorful Rajasthan town of Sambhar.  Once the tour is over you will be returned to your chosen accommodation to relax and enjoy the evening at your leisure.

Day 07: Roopangarh to Udaipur (355km 5hrs)
After breakfast you will be driven on to Udaipur.  One arrival and after checking in to your chosen accommodation you will be left to enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 08: Udaipur
After breakfast you will be taken on a tour of Udaipur this includes the Jagdish Temple, City Palace and Sheliyon Ki Bari.  In the afternoon you can enjoy and walk around Udaipur city before enjoying a boat ride at lake Pichola in the late afternoon where you will experience a beautiful sunset followed by a local dance show.  Once all is over you will be returned to your accommodation to relax for the evening.

Day 09: Udaipur to Jodhpur (255km 5hrs) 
Udaipur cityAfter breakfast you will drive on to Jodhpur.  On the way you will be taken to visit the beautiful Jain Temple in Ranakpur.  After checking in to your chosen accommodation, you will be left to have a short rest before being taken to visit the Mehrangarh fort (an illustrious work of magnificence) followed by the JaswantThada  (TajMahal of Marwar).  Afterwards you will be taken to your chosen accommodation and left to rest

Day 10: Jodhpur to Jaisalmer (278km 5hrs)
After breakfast your driver will pick you up and drive you on to Jaisalmer.  On arrival you will dropped off at the amazing Jaisalmer fort, one of the only forts still habited in India.  Here you can enjoy a walk through the small streets, do some local shopping at some of the bazars, enjoy a tranquil lunch and be amazed by the beautiful view from the walls.  Once you have seen the fort you can take a stroll outside around the Salim Singh-Ki-Haveli and the Patwon–Ki-Haveli.  These also provide small local shops and beautiful architecture.  Once the sightseeing is over you will be returned to your chosen accommodation to enjoy the rest of the evening at your leisure.

Day 11: Jaisalmer 
After breakfast your driver will pick you up and drive you on to Gadsisar Lake, Jaisalmer's only source of water for a long period.  Afterwards you will be taken to visit to the BadaBagh (Royal Gardens).  Afterwards you will be taken back to your hotel for an afternoon rest before experiencing the Khuri sand dune at sunset where you can also enjoy an evening meal with local specialties and dance.  After the show has finished, you will be returned to your chosen accommodation for the night.

Day 12: Jaisalmer to Khimsar (315km 5hrs) 
After breakfast your driver will pick you up and drive you on to Khimsar, one the way stopping at Osian, known as the “Khajurho” of Rajasthan.  One arrival you will check in to your chosen accommodation and enjoy a rest before being picked to enjoy a Jeep Safari to the beautiful Kimsar village.  Here you will experience yet again a beautiful sunset followed by a typical Rajasthan evening of folk dance, music and local foods.  After the show has finished, you will be returned to your chosen accommodation for the night. 

Day 13: Khimsar to Bikaner (160km 3hrs) 
After breakfast your driver will drive you on to Bikaner, visiting the Lalgarh palace, Junagarh Fort and the Dasnok (Rat Temple).  On arrival and check in at your chosen accommodation, you will be left you relax for the rest of the evening.

Day 14: Bikaner to Mandawa (190km 3hrs)
MandawaAfter breakfast your driver will drive you on to Mandawa.  After you have checked into your hotel you will be taken to visit the Mandawa, part of Shekhawati region, this region came into being in 1756, when Nawal Singh build the fort that has now been turned into the hotels called Castle Mandawa. Mandawa its self become a full-fledged town only after Nawal Singh’s two grandsons decided to make it their home at the end of the 18th century.  After the tour is finished you will be returned to your chosen accommodation

Day 15: Mandawa to Delhi (260km 5hrs)
After breakfast your driver will drive you back to Delhi where you will catch your international flight home.If you have a late flight, there will be an opportunity to do some last minute shopping and have dinner before being dropped off at the airport.
