Classical India Tour

Duration : 13 Nights - 14 Days (Depending on flight times)
Destinations : Delhi > Varanasi > Khajuraho >Orchha> Jhansi > Agra > Jaipur > Jodhpur > Ranakpur > Udaipur > Delhi

Day 01: Delhi 
On arrival from your international flight, one of our representatives will transfer you to your chosen accommodation.  After breakfast you will take a rickshaw around Delhi’s famous ChandniChowk, and to see the Lotus Temple.  This totally depends on the time of the international flight.  If one arrives late at night these sights will be added to the next days tour.

Day 02: Delhi 
After breakfast your driver will pick you up and take you on a sight seeing tour around Delhi, which will enclose the following places and monuments:  The QutubMinar, India’s gate (War Memorial) the Presidents House, Parliament House and Secretariat Buildings, the Raj Ghat (cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi), and the Jama Masjid.  We will end the days sight seeing by driving past the Red Fort (closed on Monday) After the tour is finished you will be returned to your chosen accommodation.

Day 03: Delhi to Varanasi (by flight)
After breakfast your driver will pick you up and transfer you to Delhi airport where you will fly on to Varanasi.   After checking into your chosen accommodation you will be taken on a sightseeing tour around Varanasi, this will include a visit to the BHU (considered as the biggest residential university in Asia), the University Campus houses, Art Gallery and the Mosque of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb.  After the sightseeing tour is finished you will be returned to your chosen accommodation to enjoy the evening at your leisure.

Day 04: Varanasi
After breakfast you will be picked up and taken to wander the small streets of the holy city of Varanasi. Here you will see hundreds of small Hindu Temples and places of prayer.  Varanasi is not only one of the holiest city’s in India when it comes to the Hindu religion, in Varanasi there is also a large number of Muslims, therefore you can also see the ShrKashiVishwanath Muslim Temple whilst walking through the small streets.  
After you have completed the tour through the streets you will be returned to your chosen accommodation for a short rest before returning the Ghats (the steps down to the river Ganges) here you will experience a beautiful sunset followed by the “Aarti” Hindu Ceremony.  Afterwards you will be returned to your chosen accommodation for the night.

Day 05: Varanasi to Khajuraho
Before breakfast go back to the River Ganges and experience an amazing, you can do this on a boat ride (weather permitting) afterward return to your accommodation for breakfast.  After breakfast and accommodation check out, your driver will pick you up and transfer you to Varanasi airport where you will fly on to Khajuraho.  On arrival you will be pick up by your driver who will take you on a sightseeing tour of Khajuraho.  Here you will not only see the world famous Karma Sutra Temple, but also the Lakshmana Temple, the Matangesvara Temple, the Varaha Temple, the Visvanatha and Nandi Temples, the Brahmanical Temples and a group of Jain Temples.  In the evening you will be taken to see and light and sound showbefore being returned to your chosen accommodation for the night.

Day 06: Khajuraho to Orchha to Jhansi (216km 4hrs)
After breakfast your driver will drive you on to Orchha In Orccha you can have a stroll around, visit the ancient temples, go into some local art shops where you will find beautiful paintings done on Sanskrit paper and enjoy lunch.  After lunch you will be driven on to Jhansi railway station where your driver will put you on the Agra.  On arrival your driver will pick you up and transfer you to your chosen accommodation where you will be left to enjoy your evening at your leisure.

Day 07: Agra
After breakfast your private chauffeur will take you see beautiful Agra fort followed by the world famous TajMahal (closed on friday) and you will end you sight seeing in Agra enjoying the sunset over MahtabBagh. Afterwards you will be left to enjoy your evening at your leisure.

Day 08: Agra to Jaipur (250kms 5hrs)
After breakfast your private chauffeur will drive you on to Jaipur, on the way visiting the Fatehpur Sikri. In the afternoon you will be taken to visit some of Jaipur’s local markets and bazars.  Afterwards you will be checked in to your chosen accommodation where you will be left to enjoy your evening at your leisure.

Day 09: Jaipur
After breakfast you will be taken to Jaipur’s beautiful Amber Fort.  After the fort you will be taken on to explore the Pink City of Jaipur including the Jantra Mantra observatory, the HawaMahal (Wind Palace) and City palace where the royal family still resides.  Afterwards you will be returned to your chosen accommodation.

Day 10: Jaipur to Jodhpur  (346km 5.5hrs)
After breakfast you will drive on to Jodhpur.  After checking in to your chosen accommodation, you will be taken to visit the Mehrangarh fort (an illustrious work of magnificence) followed by the JaswantThada  (TajMahal of Marwar).  Afterwards you will be returned to your chosen accommodation.

Day 11: Jodhpur to Bishnoi to Jodhpur (25km 45min each way)
After breakfast your driver will take you on a day excursion to Bishnoi.  The Bishnoi’s are an eco friendly sect belonging to the Hindu religion. It is one of the alternative communities of Rajasthan.  They are famous for their rich cultural Rajasthan Life style and their dedication, love and respect love for Mother Nature and her animal kingdom.  Here you will experience a local village safari, which originates from the days of the Rajas and Maharaja's of Jodhpur.  This safari invites both Indian nationals foreign guest to take a glimpse of the rich cultural life of this area.  Here you will meet the locals and experience their lives through, eating, speaking, interacting, working and observing.  You will also have the opportunity to purchase some local artwork including had weaved carpers and pottery.  Once the day is over you will be returned to your chosen accommodation to enjoy the evening at your leisure.

Day 12: Jodhpur to Ranakpur to Udaipur (255km 5hrs)
After breakfast you will be driven on to Udaipur, known as the Venice of East.  On the way you will be taken to visit the beautiful Jain Temple in Ranakpur.   After you have reached Udaipur, checked in to your chosen accommodation and had a short rest, you can enjoy an evening walk round the in city.

Day 13: Udaipur
After breakfast you will be taken on a tour of Udaipur this includes the Jagdish Temple, City Palace and Sheliyon Ki Bari and in the evening you will enjoy boat ride at lake Pichola before being returned to your chosen accommodation.

Day 14: Udaipur to Delhi (By flight)
After breakfast you will be transferred to Udaipur airport to fly on to Delhi.  If you have a late flight a driver will collect you and there will be an opportunity to do some last minute shopping and have dinner before being dropped off at the airport to catch your international flight home.
